An endorsement and a small piece of advice…
I totally encourage you to write and submit articles to article banks as part of your website’s marketing plan. It has a two-fold effect.
Number one, it’s a great way to establish 1-way links to your website as article banks distribute your material to other sites. Usually, I receive 15-30 new links with each article I write. Not bad for 20-40 minutes of work.
Number two, it gives your site credibility, especially if you’ve written a good, informative article. People are hungry for good information about the things that they are looking for. You (and your site) will stand out, and people will come back in the future.
There are two ways I distribute articles. Number one is a website, isnare.com. For $2, they’ll distribute your article to about 24,000 sites. In reality, you’ll probably on get added to 20, depending on your topic, but it’s still a good tradeoff for the money.
The second one is by hand. I use a small program called “Article Submitter”. It’s a few years old, and getting harder to find on the web, but it’s a good little program to have. It has a auto-fill feature that plugs in all the info you want it to on each site you visit. It takes some time to set up, but once you have it up and running, submissions are a breeze. It’s really a must-have program. It costs $97 (and it’s come down from it’s original price of $147, so it’s even more of a deal now), and you can get it here. It’ll save you a TON of time, and it’s worth every penny.
